How is Eilik charged?
Through the USB-C port, using the supplied cable and any standard USB power source. There are no replaceable batteries.
Does Eilik need Wi-Fi or the internet?
No. Eilik works completely offline, straight out of the box. No app or account is required.
If I do not interact with him, what does Eilik do?
He goes into standby after about 1 minute and makes spontaneous expressions and movements on his own. After about 15 minutes he goes to sleep, and after about 30 minutes without interaction he shuts down.
If I have two Eilik connected, do both need charging?
Yes. When more than one Eilik is connected, each one needs its own USB-C cable plugged in. They do not charge through each other.
Can two Eilik really interact?
Yes. Place two together and they recognise each other, then play, build a friendship, or squabble.
How long does the battery last?
The 450 mAh battery gives roughly 1.5 hours of active play, and takes about an hour to charge.
Does Eilik work with the AI Station?
Yes, the Eilik AI Station works with all series of Eilik. It adds AI chat, a camera and gesture games, and is sold separately.
Is Eilik suitable for children?
He is an interactive electronic product with a rechargeable lithium battery and small moving parts. Please check the age guidance on the packaging and supervise younger children during play.
